Hi really sorry to bother but, I've only recently become interested in architecture and as a junior in high school I don't know if I can start now. I really would like it as a major but I don't know if the work load is going to be too much for me. Is there any advice you can give as to how to begin to start an education for architecture? Or if I should even pursue it? Sorry to bother! :x

Hi! Thanks for your question, and for checking out this blog!

First of all, it is never ever too late to start architecture!

The work load of an architecture student is quite large, it’s true. Some sources even put it alongside medical or law school. But you can try it for a semester, and if it’s what you want, keep going. It’s okay if you change your mind.

As far as starting an education in architecture, start doing something artistic. Get creative, and see what inspires you. The other thing that you should do is to start researching schools and apply to them. (Make sure the school’s architecture program is accredited!)

I hope this helps!
